yulman stadium
Launching the grand opening of its new on campus stadium, Tulane University needed the expertise of a powerful team to celebrate the reigning of a new era with the school. Integra Productions managed a full weekend of spectacular events partnering with some of NOLA’s award winning suppliers. For the grand opening event along with the Solomon Group, we turned the warehouse at Mardi Gras World into a fully-fledged immersive football experience. Upon entering the building, attendees walked the green carpet through the venue’s float den as Tulane cheerleaders hailed their arrival. From here they entered and experienced the “History Room” on their way to the event. Finally, like a player, attendees entered the event through a custom LED “tunnel” where finally guests “took the field”.
Overhead a room length, curved projection screen displayed the sky depicting the new open air Yulman Stadium. Underfoot, painted football turf complete with yard and hash marks covered the entire space. Large format graphics of players, custom fabricated tables and a LED ticker surrounded the field and completed the look. Food was catered by famed restauranteur Donald Link. Music for the night produced by Greg Williamson included the Tulane Marching Band, a 2nd line, the Midnight Ramble Band along with special guests Joan Osborne, William Bell and New Orleans legend Allen Toussaint. It was a one of a kind production and evening!
